Terms & Conditions for Legendarium Magazine Article Contributor + Product Partnerships

By completing your purchase, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions between you (“Partner”) and Direct Knowing Global, Inc. (“Publisher,” “we,” or “us”).
1. Purpose
The purpose of this Agreement is to outline the terms and conditions under which Partner will be featured in or otherwise collaborate with Legendarium Magazine, a publication produced and distributed by Direct Knowing Global, Inc.
2. Term
This Agreement becomes effective upon checkout and shall remain in effect until the completion of the agreed-upon deliverables, unless earlier terminated in accordance with Section 9.
3. Intellectual Property
Partner retains ownership of all original intellectual property submitted, including but not limited to written work, brand elements, photographs, or other media.


Publisher retains full rights to all assets created by Publisher or its team in relation to the partnership, including but not limited to magazine layout, graphic design elements, editorial styling, promotional copy, and cover designs.


Partner grants Publisher a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, adapt, and distribute submitted materials for purposes related to the magazine issue, associated promotions, and archive.


Publisher grants Partner the right to use any final published feature content for marketing and portfolio use, with appropriate credit.


4. Payment Terms and Refund Policy
Partner agrees to pay the fees described at checkout (the “Fee”).


Partner is responsible for the full Fee once checkout is completed.


No refunds will be issued under any circumstances. By completing checkout, Partner acknowledges and accepts that the Fee is non-refundable and non-cancellable.


In the event any payment is late, Partner’s participation will be suspended until payment is made.


A two percent (2%) late penalty applies to all balances not paid within five (5) days.


We reserve the right to suspend all services if the account is more than five (5) days overdue.


If a Partner becomes legally incapacitated or dies, this Agreement will automatically terminate. No refunds will be issued for funds received prior to the date of termination.


5. AI-Free Policy
Legendarium is an AI-Free publication.
All writing submitted must be created by the Partner, not generated by AI.


All photography submitted must be an actual image taken by a human with a camera.


Grammar tools such as Grammarly or light AI-based editing in photography may be used, but the original creative source must be human.


6. Representations and Warranties
Partner represents and warrants that any content submitted:
Is original or properly licensed;


Does not infringe upon any third-party rights;


Does not violate any applicable laws or regulations.


Both Parties warrant they have full authority to enter into and perform under this Agreement.
7. Confidentiality
Each Party agrees to maintain the confidentiality of non-public, proprietary, or sensitive information disclosed during the course of the partnership and to use such information only for the purposes outlined herein.
8. Termination
Either Party may terminate this Agreement with 30 days' written notice.
In the event of termination, all completed work up to the date of termination shall be honored.


Any unpaid balances will be invoiced and due immediately upon termination.


No refunds will be issued for any reason.


9. Limitation of Liability
Partner releases Publisher, its directors, employees, associates, affiliates, contractors, agents, and successors from any and all risks or loss, foreseeable or unforeseeable, arising out of any transaction.


If we are found liable for damages, our liability is limited to the amount of Fees paid by Partner during the six (6) months preceding the cause of action.


We are not liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, except in cases of gross negligence or as otherwise provided by law.


We are not liable for inability to deliver services due to force majeure, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other events outside our control.


10. Independent Contractors
The Parties agree they are independent contractors. Nothing in this Agreement creates a joint venture, partnership, or employment relationship.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
12. Disclaimers
Partner understands they are solely responsible for their progress and results.


Publisher makes no guarantees regarding performance, income, profitability, or specific results.


Results may vary depending on individual capacity, skills, knowledge, education, experience, and action.


Services do not constitute counseling, psychotherapy, or medical treatment and are not substitutes for professional care.


Services do not constitute tax advice; Partner agrees to rely on their own advisors for tax issues.


Publisher disclaims all implied warranties of title, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose.


13. Indemnification
Partner agrees to indemnify and hold Publisher harmless from any claims, demands, judgments, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of this Agreement or Partner’s conduct.
14. Non-Disparagement
Partner agrees not to publicly or privately disparage Publisher, its services, company, or team in a way that harms reputation, except as required by law or legal process.
15. Dispute Resolution
Disputes will first be addressed through good faith discussion.


If unresolved, disputes will be determined by binding arbitration in Arizona before a sole arbitrator.


The arbitration award will be final and enforceable in court.


16. Severability
If any part of this Agreement is deemed invalid, the remainder will remain enforceable.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Parties. They may only be modified in writing by both Parties.
18. Scope of Work: Contributor Partnership
As a Partner, you will receive:
Ongoing Brand Collaboration
Opportunity to submit up to 3 articles across the year.


Each article will be highlighted and promoted when it is published.


Community Access
12-month membership in our members-only community.


Private community space inside the app.


Monthly collaboration calls for ongoing strategy development, article development and inspiration


Visibility & Reach
5 complimentary year-long subscriptions to Legendarium Magazine to gift at your discretion.


Featured in the Contributor Index for the full year.


Featured across Legendarium marketing and community channels, including:


Shared Email Spotlight: One email per drop featuring all contributors, each with a short teaser blurb + link to their article/ritual, sent to our full subscriber list.


Shared Contributor Reel: One Instagram Reel per issue showcasing visuals (headshots or clips) and names of contributors, tagging all contributors.


Stories Collage Feature: A carousel-style Instagram Story tagging all contributors, with a “ritual preview” graphic for each and the option to include one pull quote or sentence.


Contributor Assets
Each contributor will also receive branded promotional materials to share:
Instagram Square for feed featuring the article name and issue title.


Story Graphic Template sized for IG Stories, with space for your own text or quote.


Caption Prompts: 2–3 short, customizable promo blurbs to help you share your article and the issue.



19. Investment and Payment
The Founder’s Rate for a Cover Feature Partnership is $2,500 USD, payable at checkout in full. The entire fee must be paid before the issue featuring the Partner is published. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
By completing checkout, Partner acknowledges they have fully read and understand these Terms and Conditions, and agree to be bound by them.
